Loneliness (Poem)

Writer's picture: The ScooperThe Scooper

By Jayami Thasara

In the quiet of her room, she sits alone,

Her siblings gone; their laughter now unknown.

No voices echo through the empty halls,

Just silence surrounds her, as loneliness befalls,

Memories dance in her mind's soft embrace,

of shared secrets and adventures in each space.

but now she wanders in solitudes embrace,

longing for the familiar, their warm embrace.

Her heart years for the bond they used to share,

for their presence, their love, always there.

Yet in this solitude, she finds strength anew,

discovering herself, finding skies of blue

The absence weighs heavy she learns to stand tall,

for within her beats the heart of all.

and though they may be apart for a while,

their love connects them, mile after mile.

so in the quiet of her room, she finds solace sweet,

knowing their bond is one no distance can defeat.

For even in loneliness ,Her siblings remain near,

in Memories cherished, in love that's sincere.
