Love as a medicine,
Small, yet frequent doses of love.
Love that plasters one side of my heart, and heals the other.
Love that keeps giving instead of taking.
Love that helps me grow into parts that do not fit.
I learn to love through people who never did.
I learn to love through the gestures some of
my favourite people make.
I learn to love through you.
This love medicine fixes the broken souls and damaged hearts,
like us, I say,
Your pretty eyes begin to speak instead of your mouth
for the first time.
