Elden Ring is an interactive fiction game that's similar to games like "The Sims" and "Minecraft." It can be played on both console or desktop, so it is a cross-platform game. In its story, the protagonist wakes up in a mysterious forest with no memory of who they are. While you explore the world of Elden Ring and eventually piece together your identity, there are many adventures to embark on as you try to find out what happened to you. What makes this game different from other similar games is that it has no handcrafted worlds. Instead, each player creates their own world by exploring and creating items found in the environment which people can visit regardless of where they are geographically located when playing Elden Ring.
Elden Ring, being the newest addition to the "Dark Souls" franchise, does not disappoint in any way, shape or form, with its gripping combat features and effortlessly immersive graphics, accompanied by a fantastical tale that truly captivates the player into the world, as they explore and craft their own unique story as the game progresses.
The game is currently available on STEAM and will be available on other platforms in the future.
It is important to note that this game may be more suitable for teenagers because it has complex stories, so I think children under age 13 would have trouble following it or enjoying it as much as teens or adults would, accompanied by its use of gore and other mature themes, so be warned wary traveler!
In short, the newest installment of the Soul's series brilliantly outshines the rest of its competition, with developers FromSoftware showing the true capabilities of next-generation hardware, while still holding on to the difficulty and frustration that the franchise is connected with since its rise to fame. With the ability to choose your own destiny whilst exploring an untamed and unknown world, Elden Ring truly earns the title of a masterpiece.
