Poem on Stars

Writer's picture: The ScooperThe Scooper

By Shrutika Sridharan

In the velvet canvas of the midnight sky,

A myriad of stars, like diamonds, lie,

Each one a story, a dream, a hope,

In their celestial dance, they endlessly cope.

Twinkling diamonds in the dark expanse,

They shimmer with a cosmic, mystic dance,

A glimpse into the vast, eternal sea,

Where secrets of the universe unfurl and free.

Some burn with fiery, passionate grace,

While others softly gleam in tranquil space,

They've witnessed time in its relentless flight,

In their radiant glow, they share their light.

Guiding sailors on the open sea,

Or inspiring poets in their reverie,

The stars ignite our imagination's fire,

Filling our hearts with wonder and desire.

In constellations, they tell ancient tales,

Of heroes, myths, and long-forgotten trails,

Connecting us to the past, the ancient art,

A map to the heavens, where dreams may start.

So when you gaze upon the stars so high,

Remember, they're the embers of the sky,

A reminder of the beauty, the dreams afar,

In the timeless embrace of every star.
